Program Description

CNC turning and milling setup, programming and operations will have students develop process plans, write, load and edit basic programs. Accurate part inspection is emphasized, along with critical thinking and problem solving. Students will work towards potential NIMS certifications by writing, running and producing a part both on the milling machine and lathe that will need to pass inspection to receive NIMS certifications
