Quietflex Manufacturing is seeking a professional skilled individual for our Fast Pack/Shrink Wrapper position. The Fast Pack/Shrink Wrapper primarily uses the automated shrink-wrap machine to package and bundle products according to production and shipping schedules. The fast pack operator follows established procedures and guidelines in performing manual tasks to assist with production and warehouse operations as defined by safety quality and productivity parameters.

1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts (7am to 3:15pm, 3pm to 11:15pm, 11:00pm to 7:15am). Occasional weekends based on business needs. 8-hour shifts.  Current needs are for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Responsibilities:

May include:

operator, production line, equipment, manufacturing, fast paced, shrink-wrap

• Check and follow daily production schedule.
• Use computerized system to set up machine according to product being shrink-wrapped.
• Stack and wrap bags of ducts into bundles.
• Maintain good housekeeping – clean, organized workstations.
• Follow all safety procedures and standards.
• Load loose piece orders onto trailers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Works under direct supervision and follows written/verbal instructions to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Resolves routine questions and problems, refers complex issues to others.
• Demonstrates an awareness of the relative urgency of tasks and responds accordingly.
• Answers basic routine questions following pre-established guidelines. 
• Must be detailed oriented to ensure material is properly labeled.
• Able to move, lift and bend on a regular basis.
• Able to safely lift 40 lbs. routinely throughout the day.
• Good organizational skills. Computer literate. 
• Good communication skills
• Warehouse/shipping/packing experience preferred.
•  High School diploma or GED equivalent
