Delivery Driver            Department: Delivery                   Location: Harrisburg, PA
Primary Objective of Position: To deliver material to customers at designated locations in specific timeframes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
 Organize placement of material on trucks for effective and timely delivery
 Inspect trucks each day per DOT regulations and complete required DOT paperwork
 Deliver material to customers and pick-up returns
 Communicate with sales department regarding order problems
 Build and maintain customer service relationships
 Assist in various tasks that promote the effective functioning of the warehouse
 Carry a photo ID and cell phone at all times
 Wear long pants and work boots
 Immediately report any accidents/incidents to your immediate supervisor and the Manager of General Services.
 Clean out truck cab and box after each delivery route.
 Stage all returned material in appropriate areas.
 Assist with picking or put-away in the warehouse.
 Additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Ability to read and understand written and oral directions
Observe legal and defensive driving practices
Meet schedules and timeframes
Perform manual work of lifting material and supplies of 50 to 75 lbs
Education/Training/Experience:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Two years of warehouse experience.
Valid Pennsylvania driver's license.
