Basic Purpose:

The Flock Settlement Clerk tracks all transactions associated with maintaining flock counts from time of deliver until time of processing.

Tasks are to be completed while maintaining the highest safety, food safety and quality, cost and GMP standards in a high speed manufacturing environment. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Track performance data of flocks
  • Posts live data into accounting systems to accumulate flock costs, including reconciling fuel & feed consumption for USDA
  • Adjusts flock counts as per condemnation reports
  • Creates and produces weekly reports for grower settlements for payment purposes
  • Create weekly grower performance reports as well as monthly feed mill, hatchery and grow out cost reports
  • Assists with AR and AP duties such as posting daily sales, manual billings, vouch invoices and cut checks for weekly payments
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum one year experience in a accounts payable role or related capacity

None

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Two years college education or equivalent in related business experience
  • Experience reviewing all requirement documentation to validate and reconcile accounts payable processes
  • Good computer skills; knowledgeable in Excel, PRISM and MRP software programs
  • Good organizational and communication skills, including good telephone skills
  • Computer literate with spreadsheet experience
  • Possess good organizational, communications, and analytical skills
