DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Summary
This position is responsible for the daily production of either a batch plant or drum plant to produce quality asphalt for internal customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
 * Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task
 * Adhere to and follow all safety rules and regulations of MSHA/OSHA/DOT and Pennsy Supply, Inc.
 * Ensure quality production of asphalt materials
 * Assign and load trucks to various locations
 * Order liquid asphalt as needed
 * Complete daily and weekly production reports
 * Perform general daily maintenance on asphalt plant
 * Ensure that all Government environmental regulations are followed
 * Responsible for quality products
 * Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience
 * High school Diploma or equivalent
 * Previous experience in Asphalt Plant Operation helpful but not required
